A forecast is only as good as the measurements behind it. Both of our models correct a baseline weather model where it is weakest, at the place you actually care about. One is in customers' hands today; one is being built around our own drones.

Point correction, fitted to one location and the variables you need.
We fit a forecast model for each customer individually on the historical observations near your exact location, correcting the baseline it runs on, currently HARMONIE-AROME from the Finnish Meteorological Institute. A regional model resolves a grid cell. Windpoint resolves your point inside it.

Windwall
Field correction for wind energy, anchored to our own drone measurements.
Windwall corrects a whole prediction field, not a single point. Our drones' measurements anchor it to what is happening in the atmosphere in reality, and it departs from the baseline exactly where the baseline is known to fail. It is a dynamic field, not a bias correction sitting on someone else's output.
